AKES, Pakistan is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join its Finance Department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or students pursuing accounting and finance qualifications to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls within an educational organization. The selected candidate will work closely with the Finance Team to support daily financial activities across various regions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in data entry, record keeping, and maintenance of financial documentation.
Support the Finance Team in preparing financial reports, summaries, and reconciliations.
Maintain, update, and organize Excel-based financial databases.
Coordinate with internal departments for information gathering and timely follow-ups.
Visit AKES, Pakistan premises and units as required for field-related tasks.
Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth financial processes.
Gain exposure to finance operations, compliance procedures, and internal audit processes.
Skills & Qualifications
Recent graduate or current student in ACCA, ICMA, CAF, AFC, CFA, CIMA, CMA, or a related accounting/finance program.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, spreadsheets).
Familiarity with accounting software will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to perform field-related tasks when required.
