Job Summary

The Finance cum Student Affairs Officer will be responsible for managing fees and finance-related matters of both academies including issuing challans, managing donations, entries in the software, and follow-up with parents. S/he will also work with Admission Committee during Academies Admissions and coordinate parents on administrative and student affairs related matters. Additionally, s/he will support the scholarship process in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Generate fee vouchers for students of both PABA and MGA on a monthly basis and ensure its distribution to students/parents/guardians on time.

  • Deal with parents for fee and admission-related matters.
  • Carry out the daily posting of fee submissions (Bank reports) into the software/system.     
  • Communicate with the Finance Coordinator for resolving queries regarding academies fees matters.
  • Submit weekly outstanding reports & follow-up with Parents/Guardian.
  • Develop and implement strategies/plans to reduce monthly outstanding fees.
  • Work closely with donors for various kinds of donations.
  • Issue receipt of donation to the Donors.
  • Do reminder calls/emails to donors when the fee is due.
  • Work closely with Admission Committee during academies admissions cycle from start to end & ensure to maintain timelines as guided by them.
  • Keep close liaison with the IYS Honorary Secretary during admissions process & matters related to Financial Assistance & Fee Donations.  
  • Prepare a monthly summary of fees and donations
  • Review the aging summary on a monthly basis.  
  • Coordinate with Institutions for fee-related matters.
  • Maintain the Donation register and reconcile it with the ledger.
  • Manage the end-to-end scholarship process including advertisement, collection and scrutiny of applications, financial need assessment, interviews, coordination with students and donors, documentation, disbursement through the designated bank, maintaining records, and preparing regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Any related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or any relevant discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in finance/accounts and student administration.
  • Prior experience in educational/student affairs is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
