Job Summary

The Export Assistant (Female) will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of export sales contracts, managing day-to-day export operations, and supporting the development of new export opportunities. This role involves close coordination with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, banks, and inspection agencies while maintaining accurate reporting in Microsoft Excel.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Execute and monitor export sales contracts in line with agreed terms and timelines.
  • Coordinate export operations, including shipping schedules, logistics, and customs requirements.
  • Prepare and verify export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, BL, LC documentation, etc.).
  • Track shipments, payments, and contract performance using Excel reports.
  • Liaise with international clients and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct basic market research to support new export opportunities.
  • Assist the Export Manager with negotiations, follow-ups, and relationship management.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in export operations (commodities experience is a plus).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of export documentation and international trade procedures.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
