Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to teach students of Class 9 and 10 following the Matriculation Board curriculum. The ideal candidate should be proficient in grammar, literature, and writing skills, and capable of preparing students for board examinations with a strong focus on academic excellence and language development.
Role and Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver well-structured English lessons in grammar, composition, comprehension, and literature.
Prepare students for board exams, focusing on syllabus completion, revision, and exam strategies.
Evaluate student progress through classwork, assignments, tests, and mock exams.
Provide individual support to students to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Promote a love for reading and critical thinking through classroom discussions and activities.
Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance.
Organize English language activities such as debates, speech competitions, and essay writing.
Participate in curriculum development, school events, meetings, and training sessions.
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature, Linguistics, or related field.
B.Ed. or teaching certification preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching English at the secondary level (Class 9 & 10).
Strong command of English grammar, comprehension techniques, and board exam formats.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and interactive teaching methods.
Ability to engage students with creative lesson planning and activities.
Knowledge of Sindh/Federal Board curriculum and marking scheme.
