Electrician / Plumber (Contract Basis) @ Karachi Sports & Recreation Centre (KSRC)

Job Summary

Karachi Sports & Recreation Centre (KSRC) is seeking a skilled, reliable, and experienced Electrician / Plumber to support the maintenance and smooth operation of its sports, recreational, and administrative facilities.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical repairs and maintenance of wiring, lights, switches, sockets, fans, and related installations.
• Maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, taps, washbasins, toilets, drainage, and water pumps.
• Identify and promptly resolve electrical faults, water leakages, and other maintenance issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise operational disruptions.
• Undertake minor welding, fitting, and general repair work, where required and within the scope of expertise.
• Maintain records of repairs and report maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and proper use of tools and materials.

A technically competent individual who can address routine maintenance requirements efficiently, respond to urgent repair needs, and help ensure the safety and uninterrupted operation of our facilities.

Renewal or extension of the position will be subject to satisfactory performance.

Required Skills

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum middle or matriculation education; technical certification or vocational training will be preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant practical experience in electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Hands-on skills in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience in maintaining commercial buildings, institutions, clubs, or sports facilities will be an advantage.
• The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age. 
• Responsible, punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
