Job Summary

The ECD Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children aged 3 to 6 years. The role focuses on the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of young children through structured learning, play-based activities, and positive engagement.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet early childhood education standards.

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Foster the development of basic skills such as numbers, letters, social skills, and hygiene.

  • Monitor children’s progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.

  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s development.

  • Encourage positive behavior and resolve conflicts with patience and understanding.

  • Conduct regular assessments and prepare progress reports.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Diploma or Certification in Early Childhood Education or relevant field.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in an ECD setting (preferred).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong classroom management and child observation skills.

  • Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

  • Knowledge of child safety and first aid (preferred).
