The ECD Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children aged 3 to 6 years. The role focuses on the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of young children through structured learning, play-based activities, and positive engagement.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet early childhood education standards.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
Foster the development of basic skills such as numbers, letters, social skills, and hygiene.
Monitor children’s progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s development.
Encourage positive behavior and resolve conflicts with patience and understanding.
Conduct regular assessments and prepare progress reports.
Skills and Qualification:
Diploma or Certification in Early Childhood Education or relevant field.
Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in an ECD setting (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong classroom management and child observation skills.
Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Knowledge of child safety and first aid (preferred).
