ECD Teacher Educator @ Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan

The ECD Teacher Educator will assist teachers in teaching and learning. Conduct Professional developmental sessions, workshops and trainings. Create learning environment of High Scope teaching approach with low/no cost materials in areas. Maintaining students’ portfolios, assessment records, reading logs and observations in all pre-primary classes. Conduct demo lessons in pre-primary classes as per need. Arrange valley wise networking sessions for parents and community. Follow-up visits to all schools and support teachers in organizing events in schools. Coordinate with AKHS and AKRSP Staff (FHO’s and LHV’s) in conducting sessions for parents and community. Supply of materials to classes and ensure safety of materials in pre-primary classes. Develop and review session plans/lesson plans and review pacing guides. Share training reports and success stories from schools.

Skills and Qualificaiton:

• The ideal candidate must have 16 years of education, preferably in Education; B. Ed is desirable. Six-month diploma in ECD/ECE/Montessori from a recognized institution preferred.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience at pre-primary level.
