We are looking for a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic ECD Teacher to work with young children in a school located in the Sakwar area of Gilgit. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, friendly, and engaging learning environment that supports children's early educational, social, emotional, and physical development.
The ideal candidate should have an ECD diploma, a genuine interest in working with young children, and the ability to use creative teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Role and Responsiblities:
Plan and conduct age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities.
Teach children basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colors, shapes, and everyday vocabulary.
Organize storytelling, drawing, coloring, singing, games, and other learning activities.
Develop children's language, communication, social, emotional, and motor skills.
Create a caring, safe, clean, and positive classroom environment.
Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, charts, and educational resources.
Encourage creativity, curiosity, confidence, and independent learning.
Monitor children's learning progress and identify areas where additional support is needed.
Maintain classroom discipline through positive and child-friendly methods.
Communicate with parents and school management about children's progress and needs.
Maintain attendance records and other classroom documentation.
Follow school policies, teaching schedules, and child-safety procedures.
Skills and Qualification:
Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD) is required.
Location Preference: Must be from the Sakwar area.
Experience: Previous teaching experience in ECD, kindergarten, preschool, or early primary classes is preferred.
Childcare Skills: Must understand the basic learning and developmental needs of young children.
Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience: Must be patient, caring, supportive, and friendly with children.
Classroom Management: Ability to maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom.
Creativity: Ability to plan engaging educational activities and use creative teaching methods.
Responsibility: Must be punctual, hardworking, disciplined, and professional.
Teamwork: Ability to cooperate with other teachers, parents, and school management.
Fresh Candidates: Qualified fresh candidates with an ECD diploma and a willingness to learn may also apply.
