Job Summary
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate, activity-based learning sessions.
- Develop the child’s early literacy, numeracy, communication, and cognitive skills.
- Use creative activities, storytelling, art, crafts, games, and play-based learning techniques.
- Support the child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
- Communicate effectively in English and encourage the child to develop English language skills.
- Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor the child’s progress and adapt activities according to their learning needs.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, independence, and positive behavior.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the child’s progress and activities.
- Prepare simple learning materials and activities suitable for the child’s age.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- ECD training/certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience teaching or working with preschool/ECD-aged children is preferred.
- Excellent spoken English and communication skills.
- Presentable, professional, patient, and well-mannered.
- Creative and comfortable with activity-based and play-based teaching.
- Caring and child-friendly personality.
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
- Punctual, responsible, and committed.
