Job Summary

An ECD Teacher is responsible for the early development of young children (ages 3–6). The teacher creates a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment to support children’s emotional, social, and educational growth.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities
  • Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colors, and shapes
  • Create a friendly and safe classroom environment
  • Use creative teaching methods like storytelling, games, and art
  • Support children’s emotional and social development
  • Monitor and assess each child’s progress
  • Maintain classroom discipline with patience and care
  • Communicate regularly with parents about children’s performance
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the classroom
  • Prepare teaching materials and classroom decorations

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum qualification: Intermediate (FA/FSc) or above
  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Previous teaching experience (1–2 years preferred)
  • Fresh candidates with relevant training can also apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, patient, and caring personality
  • Ability to handle young children with love and attention
  • Basic classroom management skills
  • Creative teaching skills (storytelling, drawing, activities)
