Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement daily lesson plans and learning activities in line with the ECD curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development through creative teaching methods.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress and maintain accurate records of development.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding each child’s progress and needs.
  • Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness at all times.
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning through interactive activities.
  • Identify and support children with special learning needs or behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
  • Uphold child protection and safeguarding policies.

Required Skills

 

Skills and Qualification:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Teaching certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Creative, energetic, and organized approach to teaching.
