Job Summary:
The ECD Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development, while also fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Role and Responsibilities:
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
Plan and deliver daily lessons and play-based activities that promote early literacy, numeracy, and life skills.
Support children’s holistic development (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical).
Use storytelling, songs, games, and creative arts to enhance learning.
Monitor, assess, and document children’s progress and development milestones.
Encourage positive behavior, cooperation, and respect among children.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about children’s progress and needs.
Ensure classroom safety, hygiene, and well-being of all children.
Work collaboratively with other staff and participate in school activities.
