Job Summary

The ECD Lead Teacher Educator will be responsible for developing need-based and cluster-based trainings for ECD teachers in the areas of ECD practices, providing classroom-based follow up support, identification and preparation of low cost and no cost materials as teaching aids, assisting RSDU heads in community motivation, ensuring the cleanliness of ECD spaces, and facilitating ECD teachers in creating a conducive and joyful learning environment. They will also be responsible for identifying needs for teaching material in all schools located in the jurisdiction of ECDRC and develop the material / resources list required in classrooms.

The ideal candidate must have at least 14 years of education, preferably in Education / Early Year Education. Three years teaching experience in an early years setting is required. Additional experience in teacher training and certification in ECD/EYE/ECCE will be preferred.
