We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to transport goods/passengers safely and efficiently. The Driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles, following assigned routes, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring timely delivery or transport while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Role and Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers.
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
Load and unload goods as required.
Inspect vehicles daily and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and basic maintenance.
Keep accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Assist with documentation such as delivery notes, receipts, or passenger logs.
Skills and Qualification:
Valid driver’s license (specify class/type if needed).
Proven experience as a Driver (commercial driving experience is a plus).
Clean driving record.
Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
Ability to lift and carry items (for delivery drivers).
Strong time-management and communication skills.
Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
High school diploma or equivalent (optional depending on employer).
Certification in defensive driving or professional driving courses.
Experience driving larger vehicles (vans, trucks, buses).
