Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Make sure to safely transport employees, visitors, or goods to designated locations as directed by supervisors.
  • Ensure punctuality and adhere to the assigned schedules.
  • Professionally operate assigned vehicle and be well informed of all traffic rules and regulations.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, fuel, oil, lights, etc.).
  • Ensure to maintain the cleanliness (interior & exterior) of the vehicle.
  • Ensure regular servicing, fueling, and maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Report any mechanical issues or damages to the line manager immediately.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logs including mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and repair records.
  • Ensure all vehicle-related documents (license, insurance, registration) are valid and kept in the vehicle.
  • Maintain daily travel records and submit logs to the designated authority weekly or monthly.
  • Follow all organizational security procedures during field visits.
  • Be aware of emergency procedures and provide first aid when required.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods, parcels, or equipment when required.
  • Deliver official documents and correspondence as per instructions.
  • Support administrative tasks when required at the office.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Valid driving license (category based on vehicle type).
  • Minimum of 3 years of driving experience, preferably with NGOs, private firms, or government agencies.
  • Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and emergency vehicle handling.
  • Must be punctual, disciplined, and professional.
  • May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Travel to remote or rural areas may be required based on operational needs.
