Job Summary

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) runs one of the largest not-for-profit private healthcare systems in the country, with a focus on the regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh. Its core focus includes initiatives for hard-to-reach populations through services like outreach clinics, training of community midwives to provide low-cost health services in remote areas, screening for non-communicable diseases, and digital health solutions.

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent District Coordinator for Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan – Diamer Region

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with district level stakeholders such as DHOs, MS (Health Facility Level) Council members, and coordination with LSO’s and CSO
  • Representation of AKHS,P in District Technical Committee meetings and Cluster level meetings in the region
  • Development and implementation of field plans based on project workplan.
  • Periodic visit to health facilities for monitoring project activities
  • Liaison with other agencies such as AKRSP, AKES,P, AKF,P on the ground
  • Collect data, conduct QA visits, enter data, referral tracking, conduct awareness sessions.
  • Provide the healthcare providers with distribution of supplies and equipment.

Required Skills

Education, Experience & Competencies

  • Master degree from any recognized university.
  • At least 5- 10 years of experience in health related field and project management.
  • Experience of working with an international organization in similar field would be an added advantage.
  • Fluency in local languages and English
  • Should Possess Management and report writing skill
