Job Summary

A Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. The role supports kitchen operations by ensuring all items are clean, organized, and available for use. 

 Roles And Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
  • Keep the kitchen, washing area, and storage areas clean and organized.
  • Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Dispose of waste and garbage according to company procedures.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks when required.
  • Restock cleaned items in designated storage areas.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and work surfaces regularly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

Required Skills

Skills And Qualification

  • Minimum Middle, Matric, or equivalent education preferred.
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen helper is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy kitchen items when required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
