Job Summary

The Deputy Superintendent will assist the Superintendent in carrying out hostel-related academic and administrative activities, implementing rules and regulations, and maintaining discipline in the hostel. The Deputy Superintendent will play a critical role in the absence of the Superintendent, creating a safe and comfortable living experience—a “home away from home”—for the resident students. This role focuses on the overall social, emotional, and cultural well-being of students.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Supervise all activities in the hostel, including the upkeep of the facility, health and hygiene, safety and security, and the general well-being of the students.
  • · Complete administrative tasks such as preparing reports, filing incident reports, and maintaining records.
  • · Reinforce the hostel's ethos, policies, and regulations.
  • · Analyze boarders’ results, share them with the boarders, and set targets for further improvement.
  • · Develop plans for co-curricular activities for boarders and ensure all students participate in these events.
  • · Attend to guests and visitors with respect and courtesy.
  • · Address the problems of sick students and provide first aid, deciding whether internal or hospital treatment is necessary.
