Job Description
A Daycare Provider is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The role includes planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supervising play, supporting early childhood development, and ensuring children’s health, safety, and well-being while in care.
Role and Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor the safety of children in care.
Plan and implement educational, recreational, and creative activities.
Support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Prepare and serve meals or snacks in line with nutrition guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe childcare environment.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding children’s progress and needs.
Follow health, hygiene, and safety procedures.
Assist with toileting, dressing, and other basic care routines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of child development and early learning practices.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
