Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate milestones Daily health check of all children.
  • Well versed with all health-related policies Identify infant related issues and guide parents accordingly (colic, weaning diet, teething, breastfeeding, vaccinations etc) Identify toddler/preschoolers related health issues and advise parents accordingly (toilet training, balanced diet, vaccinations etc).
  • Watch for acute illnesses and implement based on health policies.
  • Medication Administration Monitoring body temperature and weight of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Referrals Reporting of any health issues promptly to center administrator, parents. 
  • Documentation Dealing with company doctor in case of any health issues.
  • Ensure Handwashing timely procedures / implementation of SOPs at centers.
  • Maintain Temperature logs and health observation of Staff, Parents and Children.
  • Conduct training with the daycare team to ensure and implement updated health SOPs.
  • Parent education: Nutrition and weaning diet Health and hygiene Safety Preventive care Child growth and development Health Management and training:
  • Overall staff health supervision Center health inspections Development of training materials for use in staff training and development as related to health Development of parent education materials Training of staff in health-related topics, including CPR and first aid Coordination with Health Coordinator in situations requiring inclusion/exclusion of staff/children Parent counseling regarding health issues

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum qualification required is Matriculation.
  • Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Valid nursing Degree (RN or LHV, Nurse aide).
  • Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or childcare.
  • Knowledge of child development and health screening tools.
  • Ensuring a safe environment and adherence to health guidelines.
  • Noticing subtle changes in behavior, mood, or health.
  • Managing high-stress situations calmly.
  • Clearly communicating with parents, staff, and health professionals.
