Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Data Officer based at Regional Office, Lower Chitral.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data collection tools and data flows to support public health programs
- Design and implement data reporting systems to help supervisors and managers monitor progress and improve outcomes
- Play key role in advancing AKHS,P’s vision of shifting from manual to autonomous reporting
- Support app development for on-field data collection for AKHS,P programs and related projects
- Set clear objectives and targets for field data teams to ensure accurate and regular data collection and reporting
- Establish accountability processes for regional and field teams in data collection and management
- Ensure high-quality, timely, and impact-oriented reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Build teamwork with other departments to jointly achieve program and project targets
- Establish research components within projects to promote learning and evidence-based programming
- Develop strong mechanisms for data collection, management, and analysis to support research, innovation, and learning.
Required Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in statistics, public health, nutrition, data science, IT or a related field.
- 2 years of experience working in a nutrition or health program (preferred).
- Strong skills in data collection and management
- Proficiency in MS Excel, mobile applications and data management software
