Job Summary

A D.Pharmacy professional is responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring proper drug storage, guiding patients on medication usage, and supporting healthcare services in hospitals, retail pharmacies, or clinics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescribed medications accurately.

  • Review prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.

  • Provide guidance to patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage.

  • Maintain patient records and prescription documentation.

  • Manage pharmacy inventory and stock levels.

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

  • Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals.

  • Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper disposal of expired drugs.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the pharmacy.

Required Skills
  • Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution.

  • Registered Pharmacist license from State Pharmacy Council.

  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and medical terminology.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.
