Job Summary

This position is Dubai based and the candidates would be placed at Dubai Mall.

Role and Responsibilities:           

  • Welcoming and greeting guests, acknowledge, meet and greet all customers.
  • Hosting and directing
  • Providing information and guidance
  • Crowd control and assistance
  • Lift and door operations
  • Thanking all guests for visiting
  • Provide a visible, friendly customer service presence always.
  • Assist with bags, coats, prams, wheelchairs and other physical items.
  • Receive guests’ items that they would like to deposit, scan them, tag them and store them in a proper and careful manner in the luggage room
  • Return deposited guests’ items upon receipt of the tag
  • Report any in-collected items at the end of the shift to the supervisor on duty
  • Report any missing tags at the end of the shift to the supervisor on duty        
  • Operate the Virtual Reality game as per the manual
  • Sanitize the Virtual Reality equipment after every use
  • Maintain the equipment and ensure that it is used and handled with care to avoid damages
  • Assist queues to go through the ticket barriers and screening machines.
  • Offer help with escalators, doors and lifts.
  • Highlight points of interest and provide information, as requested.
  • Control the flow of people to escalators, crossings and walkways.
  • Respond to and field any queries at each post throughout the attraction experience.
  • Adapt and communicate clearly to a diverse range of customers.
  • Consistently demonstrate a fun, polite, helpful approach so all customers feel valued.
  • Understand all operational practices to maintain compliance to standards.
  • Deal with demanding customers, offering solutions, keeping customers informed regarding the progress of an issue and escalating the problem when required to the Supervisor.
  • Works with other departments and external parties to deliver an integrated service.
  • Assist with Sky slide operations where required
  • For Reel Cinema – the shift may vary from 10hour to 12hour based on requirement
  • Casual staff should adhere to Emaar standards, policies & SOP’s
  • Flexibility to acquire staff if need arises
  • Vendor to ensure all benefits to be given to the casual staff as per UAE labour law

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Age: 22-30 years
  • 1 -2 years  experience in commercial facilities, entertainment zones and kids' friendly atmosphere.
  • Candidates should be proficient in English speaking.
  • Candidates having experience in Call Centre are encouraged to apply.
  • Teachers with good spoken English especially ECD teachers with good spoken English are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience of managing indoor rides, game zones is a plus.
  • Employer will offer a total salary of 2200 AED and Accommodation and Transportation (to all Overseas staff) for up to 3 months to help them settle in UAE.
  • After 3 months, the total salary would increase to 2700 AED. Then candidates needs to manage Accommodation and Transportation on their own.

Total Salary Offered: 2200 AED - 2700 AED
