Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Courier Handling Officer to manage courier operations, shipments, and deliveries efficiently. The candidate will ensure timely handling of parcels, maintain shipment records, and coordinate with customers and delivery staff.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and dispatch courier parcels and documents
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Coordinate with delivery staff and customers regarding deliveries
  • Track shipments and update delivery status regularly
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling of parcels
  • Prepare delivery reports and maintain documentation
  • Monitor courier schedules and delivery timelines
  • Verify shipment details and ensure safe handling of packages
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the courier section

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in courier, logistics, or delivery operations is an advantage
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
  • Ability to manage shipment records and documentation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parcels
  • Physically fit to handle and move packages when required
  • Honest, punctual, and responsible candidate preferred
  • Ability to coordinate with delivery staff and customers professionally
  • Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
