Job Summary:

The incumbent will oversee academic excellence, administration, HR, and finances across schools, working closely with School Heads. Responsibilities include teacher recruitment, professional development, lesson observation, performance appraisal, staff placement, fee recovery, procurement, and liaising with honorary bodies. The role requires regular travel to schools (at least one day per week per school) and submission of detailed visit reports to Department Heads.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Academics

  • Review, finalize, and ensure implementation of yearly syllabus    
  • During a 15 days cycle, spend at least 2 days in each CBS  
  • Carry out classroom observation of teachers and give feedback to them. Reach out to a teacher minimum twice during an academic session    
  • Identify CPE needs and impart professional development training to teachers on need basis    
  • Ensure 100% results in both internal and external examination with schools results as A+/A: 70%            B: 25%            C: 5%            D/E/F: 0%    
  • Review staff appraisals    

Human Resource

  • Be part of panel conducting test/interviews for CBS staff in general while CBS teachers in particular    
  • Provide monthly report on HR related issues to management 

Administration/Operations/IT

  • Prepare standard equipment/supplies (science lab, cleaning, sports etc.) list for schools & Coordinate with admin for timely purchase of budgeted supplies/equipment for schools    
  • Ensure timely reporting of any issues related to supplies, malfunctioning of items, repair and maintenance, security and other to the administration department and track progress on each reported matter.    
  • Provide regular update to management and OBs on all admin related issues.     

Finance

  • Work closely with unit head to improve fees recovery. Fee recovery must stand at 90% of the total per month.     
  • Ensure no student has outstanding fee of more than 2 months     
  • Monitor fee remission process and keep close coordination with Local Council/SWB and donors on the same.    

Others

  • Organize monthly meeting with the respective local council to share updates about IYS and get their views/concerns about the schools & communicate to IYS management and board.    
  • Timely reporting on Student activities for wider communication through IYS Social Media page     

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Education from a reputable University or M.Ed( in Teacher Education).
  •  Professional certificate/diploma in teacher education from a reputable institution would be an added advantage
  • At least 4 years of experience in similar position including Mentoring, coaching, conducting workshops, leading teacher professional development programme.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Excellent research and report writing abilities.
  • Ability to coach and inspire
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu with proficiency in MS word, ppt presentation and Excel
