Job Summary

A Cook Helper assists chefs and cooks in preparing food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting daily kitchen operations. The role involves basic food preparation, cleaning, and organizing kitchen supplies to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and ingredients
  • Clean kitchen utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
  • Help in serving and arranging food items
  • Store food and kitchen supplies properly
  • Dispose of kitchen waste safely and properly
  • Support kitchen staff during busy working hours
  • Ensure availability of clean utensils and ingredients
  • Follow kitchen safety and hygiene standards

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in kitchen or hotel work preferred
