Job Summary

A Cook Helper assists chefs and kitchen staff in preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This role is essential for supporting daily food preparation and maintaining hygiene standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping vegetables, peeling, and washing ingredients

  • Support the cook/chef in cooking tasks as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and work areas
  • Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment
  • Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients
  • Follow hygiene and food safety standards
  • Help in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies
  • Dispose of waste properly and keep the kitchen tidy

  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Willingness to follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors
  • Punctual, hardworking, and responsible attitude
  • Previous kitchen experience is preferred (but not mandatory)
