Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist cooks in preparing ingredients such as washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring food items.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

  • Ensure proper storage of food items according to safety standards.

  • Help with basic food preparation tasks as instructed by the cook or chef.

  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain sanitation standards.

  • Support kitchen staff during busy hours and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

  • Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

  • Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
