Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to menu and recipes.
  • Ensure food is cooked properly in terms of taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area and equipment.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Manage ingredients and inform about stock shortages.
  • Assist in planning and preparing daily menu items.
  • Ensure proper storage of food items.
  • Maintain consistency in portion size and quality.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum Matric or equivalent (food/catering experience preferred).
  • Previous experience as a cook or kitchen assistant is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management and teamwork skills.
