Job Summary

A Hotel Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals for hotel guests and staff while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards. The cook ensures timely meal preparation and supports smooth kitchen operations.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to hotel standards

  • Plan daily menus and food preparation schedules
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
  • Store food items properly and monitor freshness
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Manage kitchen inventory and report supply needs
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and hotel management
  • Minimize food waste and maintain cost control
  • Prepare meals for guests, staff, and special events when required
  • Ensure timely serving of breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Cook or relevant cooking experience
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to cook Pakistani and other cuisines professionally
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  • Ability to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner on time
  • Good time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Honest, hardworking, and responsible attitude
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours
  • Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team
  • Experience in handling kitchen equipment safely
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Preference given to experienced candidates
