Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef to prepare authentic Chinese dishes and manage kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, cooking techniques, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Role and Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes such as noodles, fried rice, soups, dumplings, and stir-fried meals.
Ensure all food is prepared according to restaurant standards and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
Plan menus and suggest new Chinese dishes for customers.
Manage kitchen inventory and ensure timely ordering of ingredients.
Supervise kitchen assistants and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Follow food safety and health regulations at all times
Skills and Qualification:
Proven experience as a Chinese Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or fast-food kitchen.
Strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
Ability to prepare popular Chinese dishes such as fried rice, noodles, dumplings, soups, and stir-fried dishes.
Skilled in using Chinese cooking equipment such as wok burners, steamers, and deep fryers.
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle busy service hours.
Good time management and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain quality, taste, and presentation of dishes.
Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours.
Culinary diploma or cooking certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic communication skills in English or Urdu.
