Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and passionate female chef to join a well-established hotel in Gilgit.

Role and Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate should have expertise in Pakistani cuisine and good knowledge of Chinese dishes, with the ability to prepare delicious meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals, managing kitchen activities, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent food quality and professional cooking practices.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Female candidates only.

• Previous experience as a chef or cook in a hotel or restaurant is preferred.

• Strong cooking skills in Pakistani cuisine are essential.

• Good knowledge of Chinese cuisine and popular Chinese dishes.

• Ability to prepare meals according to quality and hygiene standards.

• Knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and proper food storage.

• Ability to manage kitchen tasks and prepare meals within the required time.

• Good time-management and organizational skills.

• Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and disciplined.

• Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen staff and hotel management.

• Willingness to work according to the hotel's schedule.

• Experience working in a professional hotel or restaurant kitchen.

• Ability to prepare a variety of Pakistani and Chinese dishes independently.

• Knowledge of menu planning and portion control.

• Ability to manage ingredients and reduce food wastage.

• Creativity in food preparation and presentation.

• Relevant culinary training or certification will be an advantage.

• Salary is negotiable depending on experience, cooking ability, and skill set.

• Work location: Gilgit.

• Employment: Full-time, subject to the hotel's terms and conditions.
