Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Chef to join our hotel in Baseen, Gilgit. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing food preparation, and ensuring excellent food presentation. Applicants must have relevant cooking experience and be from Ghizer or Hunza.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Plan menus and ensure consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies when required.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
  • Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Minimize food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen practices.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistani, Continental, and local cuisine preparation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Candidates must be from Ghizer or Hunza.
  • Professional attitude, punctuality, and commitment to quality service.
