Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to the development of menus that reflect our brand and culinary vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with company recipes and standards.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency and teamwork.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.

  • Collaborate in creating innovative and appealing menus, considering seasonal availability and customer preferences.

  • Ensure food is consistently prepared and served according to presentation standards.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.

  • Control food costs through portion control and minimizing waste.

Required Skills

1. Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or relevant role in a professional kitchen.

  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.

  • Ability to develop and execute menus and recipes.

  • Skilled in managing kitchen staff and delegating tasks.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Creativity and passion for food and presentation.

  • Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking styles (specify if necessary, e.g., French, Mediterranean, Vegan, etc.

    2. Education & Certification:

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school (preferred but not always required).

  • Food Safety and Hygiene certification (mandatory in many regions).

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
