Elit Tanzania, a fast-growing technology company in the telematics industry, is seeking a dedicated chief accountant cum Manager to take on a significant leadership role. This position is designed for a professional who can seamlessly integrate financial expertise with operational management, taking full ownership of the company's fiscal health and support functions. The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor to management, driving efficiency across various departments while ensuring that all financial operations align with international standards and local regulations.

The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements and managing cash flows to handling complex tax compliance and coordinating audits. Beyond the numbers, the Accounts Manager will oversee procurement processes, tendering, and import cost management, making it a truly cross-functional position. Role and Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge in IFRS, audit, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently.
• Leadership mindset with a hands-on operational approach.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or CA is highly preferred.
• Experience in managing end-to-end financial operations including GL, AP/AR, and cash flow.
• Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Skilled in tax compliance matters including VAT, corporate tax, PAYE, and statutory requirements.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills for coordination with management and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Accounting / Finance.
