Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare student profiles and career plans.
  • Guide students in determining their interests and abilities using a range of methods, such as
  • personality tests (MBTI), aptitude assessments, interviews, and planning materials, etc.
  • Have extensive knowledge of programs being offered by various international and national
  • universities.
  • Connect students to additional resources such as scholarships, financial aid, vocational training,
  • extensive counselling, and other assistance as needed.
  • Conduct workshops on a variety of topics, including personal statements, writing resumes, cover
  • letters, etc.
  • Support academic and career development activities such as one-on-one skill assessment and career
  • guidance and conduct test and admission application preparations.
  • Teach classes and present self-help or information sessions on subjects related to career planning.
  • Compile and study occupational, educational, and economic information to assist counselees in
  • determining and carrying out vocational and educational objectives.
  • Provide information for teachers and staff members involved in helping students identify and pursue
  • education opportunities.
  • Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
  • Prepare reports on students and activities as required by the administration.

Required Skills

Skill:

  • The candidate with a Master's degree in Education/Career Counselling and guidance/Educational
  • Psychology and 2-3 years of relevant experience will be preferred; they must have effective communication
  • And strong interpersonal skills and have a good command over MS Office.
