Guide students in determining their interests and abilities using a range of methods, such as
personality tests (MBTI), aptitude assessments, interviews, and planning materials, etc.
Have extensive knowledge of programs being offered by various international and national
universities.
Connect students to additional resources such as scholarships, financial aid, vocational training,
extensive counselling, and other assistance as needed.
Conduct workshops on a variety of topics, including personal statements, writing resumes, cover
letters, etc.
Support academic and career development activities such as one-on-one skill assessment and career
guidance and conduct test and admission application preparations.
Teach classes and present self-help or information sessions on subjects related to career planning.
Compile and study occupational, educational, and economic information to assist counselees in
determining and carrying out vocational and educational objectives.
Provide information for teachers and staff members involved in helping students identify and pursue
education opportunities.
Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
Prepare reports on students and activities as required by the administration.
Required Skills
Skill:
The candidate with a Master's degree in Education/Career Counselling and guidance/Educational
Psychology and 2-3 years of relevant experience will be preferred; they must have effective communication
And strong interpersonal skills and have a good command over MS Office.
