Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
  • Administer or remind clients to take prescribed medications as directed.
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, or mental condition.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, or errands when required.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report concerns to supervisors or family members.
  • Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures at all times.
  • Respect client confidentiality, privacy, and individual preferences.

Required Skills

Qualifications And Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving, nursing assistance, or a related field is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in caregiving, elderly care, disability support, or a similar role.
  • Compassionate, patient, and caring personality with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid, personal care, and health and safety practices.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
  • Physically fit and able to assist clients with mobility when required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
