Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Care and Support

  • Provide assistance and support to individuals under care.
  • Help with daily activities as required.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents or occupants.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and report incidents to supervisors.

Facility Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas.
  • Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff when repairs are needed.

Monitoring and Security

  • Monitor premises and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Keep records of visitors, residents, or occupants where applicable.
  • Report suspicious activities or safety concerns immediately.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain daily logs and reports.
  • Assist in inventory management of supplies and equipment.
  • Follow organizational policies and procedures.

Health and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Administer basic first aid when required (if trained).
  • Support emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum Matriculation/High School Certificate.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, facility management, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

Duty Timings:

  • Day Shift: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (12 Hours)
  • Night Shift: 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM (12 Hours)

The caretaker will work on a rotational shift basis as assigned by management.
