  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate and navigate through surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, PTZ controls, and recording equipment. Familiarity with different types of surveillance technology and software is beneficial.

  • Observational Skills: Sharp observation skills to detect suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or other security threats. This includes the ability to identify unusual behavior or patterns amidst normal activity.

  • Attention to Detail: Thorough attention to detail is crucial for accurately monitoring multiple camera feeds simultaneously. This involves noticing even subtle changes or movements within the monitored area.

  • Critical Thinking: Capacity to analyze situations quickly and make informed decisions based on the information observed on camera feeds. Critical thinking skills are essential for assessing potential security risks and determining appropriate responses.
