CAD Designer @ Blessed Solar

Job Summary

We are seeking a CAD designer to join our engineering company. You will be responsible for drafting and refining product designs as we expand our catalog of engineering solutions. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to create quality, unique, and valuable products and design to help establish our company as an innovator in the engineering industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop working relationships with engineers across different departments to facilitate collaboration and communication.
• Collaborate with product development and sales teams to identify target audiences, quality objectives, product goals, and timelines.
• Work with project managers, technicians, and other design engineers to develop a drafting and review process.
• Use CAD design software to create initial workups and technical drawings based on concepts and specifications.
• Review all designs prior to submission to ensure quality control and industry compliance.
• Incorporate feedback and revise CAD drawings as necessary
• Train and manage a team of design support staff.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• A minimum of Diploma degree; in Civil, Electrical or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience preparing CAD drawings based on architectural and engineering concepts, blueprints, and layouts
• Familiar with AutoCAD computer software like Revit, SolidWorks, and Autodesk
• Excellent communication skills and the willingness to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and senior executives.
• Experience reading and understanding architectural, engineering, and mechanical drawings
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
