Job Summary

Job Role / Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the purchase of construction renovation projects, laundry, Power Plant, UMP, MEP, stock items and other non-medical equipment. You will also be responsible for inventory management of MRO & other spares. Other assignments will include contract management tendering process related to construction & other projects. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Process New Stock Item Request for the assigned category items received from the departments based on policy and/or preapproved criteria
  • Monitor re-order levels of the assigned categories through reports like days on hand, cly1rnmic or fixed MRP and contract re-ordering report and raise stock purchase requisition or contract stock requisition when an item reaches its re-order level.
  • Prepare forecast and make timely amendment through periodical reviews and communicate the same to respective buyers for timely deliveries.
  • Closely monitor loan inventory system and ensure loan transactions are properly recorded & settled timely.
  • Conduct periodic review of the par levels of consignment inventory items and send consumption report to concerned buyers/ suppliers, as per agreed timelines
  • Rationalize and optimize inventory levels to achieve inventory related goals
  • Send regular alerts about the stock status to end-user for their review (when required)
  • Strive for improvement of user satisfaction level and compliance of CARR
  • Review stock out/ critical items and follow-up with concerned buyers for their timely arrangement. Find out reasons for stock-out and take corrective action wherever possible.
  • Meet end-users to ensure customer satisfaction, and resolve their issues and queries
  • Circulate expiry repo11s to end-users and buyers for assigned categories, and keep follow ups to ensure timely utilization/ replacement of the items.
  • Closely monitor dead/ slow moving items and follow up with end-users and buyers for their utili1-:itio11 / disposal.
  • Provide reports and periodically analyses as required by the depai1ment and update item parameters in system.
  • Review system / processes for improvement.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Graduate - Preferably attended courses on inventory management
  • 01 year of working experience preferably in the inventory management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building materials
  • Adequate knowledge of computer software's pa1ticularly command over MS Office especially Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)
  • Able to analyze things critically
  • Negotiation skills
