Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our organization through new customer acquisition, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets.

  • Develop and implement strategies for lead generation, sales, and partnerships.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align offerings with market demand.

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics and sales targets.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to represent the company.

  • Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all client interactions and opportunities.

 

Required Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

  • MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 3–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.

  • Proven track record of successfully generating leads, closing deals, and meeting/exceeding sales targets.

Skills:

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to pitch, negotiate, and close deals confidently.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement growth strategies.

  • Market Research: Strong skills in analyzing markets, identifying trends, and recognizing opportunities.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM.

Technical/Tool Requirements:

  • Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).

Additional Requirements (if applicable):

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings or events (as required).

  • Valid driver’s license (for certain territories).

  • Multilingual ability is a plus (depending on market/region).
