We are seeking a strategic and driven Business Developer - Wholesale Distribution to lead our efforts in expanding market presence and building partnerships in the wholesale distribution sector. Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on the wholesale distribution market.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities.
Formulate strategic initiatives that align with company objectives and support revenue growth.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and acquire new wholesale clients, building a strong portfolio of key accounts.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Negotiate and close deals that maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Drive sales and revenue targets, overseeing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Develop customized business proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure partnerships and new accounts.
Analyze and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting strategies as needed.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor the business development team, setting clear goals and providing guidance to achieve them.
Encourage a results-driven culture, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the team.
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training to enhance team capabilities.
Market Expansion and Channel Development:
Develop and expand distribution channels to optimize market reach and coverage.
Work closely with logistics, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth channel operations and client satisfaction.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities for geographic expansion and penetration of new markets.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data to monitor business performance, forecast revenue, and assess potential market opportunities.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales metrics, market developments, and growth projections to senior management.
Use data insights to make informed decisions and refine business development strategies.
Qualifications:
Education: MBA (Mandatory) with a focus in business development, sales, or related fields.
Experience:
Proven experience in business development within the wholesale distribution industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and establishing successful partnerships.
5+ years in a leadership role with strong team management skills.
Skills:
