Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BSc Civil Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in civil engineering principles and be eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects. This role involves supporting the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure and construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices.

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and buildings.

  • Prepare technical drawings, plans, and cost estimates.

  • Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.

  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.

  • Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and permit applications.

  • Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.

  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.

Preferred:

  • Internship or previous experience in a civil engineering role.

  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, Eurocode).

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSc Civil Engineering) or equivalent.

  • Professional certification or licensure (e.g., EIT, PE, or local equivalent) is a plus or may be required.

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a specialized field is an advantage (optional).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000).

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.

  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics.

  • Knowledge of local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Experience:

  • [3–5+] years for mid-level or senior positions.

  • Hands-on experience with construction sites, design projects, or infrastructure planning is highly desirable.
