Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BBQ Chef to prepare and cook high-quality barbecue dishes while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should have expertise in grilling, marinating, and presenting a variety of BBQ items.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, marinate, and grill BBQ items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is cooked properly and served on time.
• Maintain the quality, taste, and presentation of all BBQ dishes.
• Monitor food inventory and report shortages to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and BBQ area.
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Operate and maintain BBQ grills, ovens, and kitchen equipment.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Assist in menu planning and the development of new BBQ recipes.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a BBQ Chef or Grill Chef.
• Strong knowledge of BBQ preparation, grilling, and marination techniques.
• Ability to prepare a variety of BBQ items, including chicken, beef, mutton, fish, and kebabs.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Skilled in handling BBQ grills, ovens, and related kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ability to manage food inventory and minimize wastage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Honest, responsible, and committed to maintaining high kitchen standards.
• Culinary training or certification will be an added advantage.
