Job Summary

A Babysitter is responsible for providing safe, attentive, and nurturing care for children in the absence of parents. The role involves supervising daily activities, ensuring the child’s well-being, and creating a positive and engaging environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Take care of children and ensure their safety at all times
• Feed children and prepare simple meals if required
• Help with bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Engage children in play, learning, and creative activities
• Assist with homework (if needed)
• Put children to sleep and maintain routines
• Keep the child’s environment clean and organized
• Monitor children’s behavior and report any concerns to parents
• Provide emotional support and companionship

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Must be responsible, honest, and trustworthy
• Should have a caring and patient attitude towards children
• Basic education (Matric or above preferred)
• Previous experience in babysitting or childcare is an advantage
• Ability to handle children of different ages
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit and active
• Knowledge of basic hygiene and child safety
• Ability to manage emergencies calmly
• Willing to follow parents’ instructions and routines
• Punctual and reliable
