Role and Responsibilities:
Installation Support: Helping with the assembly, installation, and testing of new elevators/escalators under guidance.
Preventive Maintenance: Assisting in routine inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
Repair Assistance: Supporting fault diagnosis and repairs (e.g., door mechanisms, button panels, minor electrical issues).
Emergency Response: Aiding in breakdown resolutions and passenger evacuations under supervision.
Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols (lockout/tagout, PPE usage) and regulatory standards.
Documentation: Recording service activities, parts usage, and inspection findings as directed.
Role and Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians in testing safety devices (door sensors, emergency stops).
Perform basic troubleshooting (e.g., resetting controls, replacing fuses, tightening loose components).
Maintain tools/equipment and ensure worksites are clean and hazard-free.
Learn and adhere to company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and local codes.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients under supervision.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in electrical/mechanical fields preferred.
Certifications:
Basic safety training (OSHA, EN standards, or local equivalent).
Willingness to pursue elevator-specific certifications (e.g., CET, QEI).
Experience:
1+ years in a technical support role (electrical, mechanical, or HVAC).
Familiarity with hand/power tools (multimeters, wrenches, drills).
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and hydraulic principles.
Ability to follow schematics and manuals with supervision.
