Job Summary

ITREBP is mandated to impart an understanding of the essential principles of Ismaili Tariqah within the broader context of Islam as a whole through a comprehensive Religious Education Curriculum, developed by the Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS), London, UK for the global Ismaili Community.

ITREBP invites applications for the position of Assistant Educator to be based at, ITREB for Upper Chitral Region. The position reports to the Regional Academic Coordinator.

Role and Responsibilities:

• The individual will be responsible to plan and conduct teacher training programs for REC teachers.
• S/He will also supervise teaching learning process in RECs by paying visits, observing lessons and providing in-time support to teachers.
• In addition, s/he will be delivering wazes and lectures as well as collaborating with other staff members in smooth conduct of Youth and Waz programs within the region

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• The applicant should have a Master’s degree in any discipline preferably in Islamic studies along with M.Ed/B.Ed. from a recognized university
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Teacher Education, Educational Planning and Programme management.
• Preference shall be given to those candidates who have completed ITREB Training programs like HRDP, HWDP and have got experience to work with Regional/Local boards of ITREB.

The applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and Urdu with a good command on MS Office
