AKU-EB Curriculum Support Specialist for Urdu, Gilgit-Baltistan @ Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan

The Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan has established a new unit with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and learning in all its Aga Khan University - Examination Board (AKU-EB) affiliated schools in Gilgit-Baltistan.

AKES, Pakistan, invites applications for filling the position of AKU-EB Curriculum Support Specialists in the subject of Urdu. The Curriculum Support Specialists will be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager, AKU-EB Support Unit in the implementation of AKU-EB school development plans. This will include improving student and teacher performance and developing plans for the improvement of assessment and evaluation in line with AKES, Pakistan’s vision and long-term strategy.

Skills and Qualification:

• The ideal candidate must have 16 years of education with a specialization in Urdu, proficiency and command of content knowledge, preferably a professional degree e.g., M.Ed/B.Ed
• Minimum of 03 years of teaching experience at a reputable institution.
• The candidate should have effective and strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and ICT integration with teaching/learning is desirable.
