The Admin and Finance Officer will be responsible for managing both administrative and financial functions to support the efficient operations of the school/region.
Role and Responsibilities
Perform administrative and basic financial management tasks.
Provide administrative support in inventory management, procurement, logistics, and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Ensure the safety and security of the school building, equipment, and staff.
Tag fixed assets and support annual physical verification of assets.
Maintain records of all financial data and assets.
Facilitate and support fee collection in the region and prepare reports to assist in minimizing outstanding fees.
Provide support in execution of fee compliance policies.
Follow up with parents regarding the outstanding fee and timely recovery.
Maintain and update SIS data on timely basis.
Actively manage the Fee Manager promotion cycle with due diligence.
Timely sharing of all financial reports including new admission, left and other required reports.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
The ideal candidate should have 16 years of education in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics (minimum second division)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity at an institution of good repute.
The individual should possess strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, treasury, taxation, and organizational skills.
Additionally, effective communication, proficiency in English, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
